Brooke Shearouse is a dynamic, New York City-based publicist who is passionate about developing strong and strategic public relations campaigns to reach new consumers and fans alike.
In her nearly 10 year publishing career with Scholastic and Abrams Children’s Books, she has worked with New York Times, USA Today and award-winning authors such as R. L. Stine, Maggie Stiefvater, Tui T. Sutherland, Alice Oseman, Christina Soontornvat, Lauren Tarshis, Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Jordan Ifueko, Andrea Beaty and many more. She has also spearheaded book campaigns for celebrities and influencers such as Charli D’Amelio, Ali Stroker, Miles McKenna and Joy Bauer as well as campaigns for licensors such as Sony Entertainment, Disney+, Netflix and more.
She is a board member of the Publishers’ Publicity Association, having served as a junior board member, co-chair and planning committee member since joining the association in the fall of 2017. When not at her desk, Brooke can be found watching her favorite Bravo reality shows or working on her tennis forehand at Astoria Park.
